MUNA International is a Christian association with headquarters in Florida, USA, created to alleviate the needs of the poorest youth in the north of Honduras. Programs

At MUNA International, our goal is simple: TO TRANSFORM EARTH THROUGH YOUR SEED. We believe the best way to do that is to invest in the youth of one of the world’s most promising developing nations: Honduras. With a population of just over 8 million and a median age of 21, this nation is primed for the sowing.

FEED

FeedMUNA International partners with churches and community centers in the north of Honduras to provide meals to school-age children. Besides the obvious benefit of nourishment, the meal programs bring the community together and encourage children to stay in school, especially those from very poor homes. Read more…

EDUCATE

MUNA International offers scholarships and other educational grants aimed at helping low-income Honduran youth access bilingual education (K-12), vocational-technical education, and college education. Scholarships range between $500 and $3000 per calendar year and are used to cover education-related expenses such as tuition, fees, books, meals and transportation costs. MUNA International channels volunteers through our sister non-pr ofit in Honduras, Ministerio Un Nuevo Amanecer. People fields as diverse as teaching, architecture, civil engineering, graphic design, and agricultural engineering have found a temporary home with us, freely serving the needy of Honduras – heart, soul, and body. VOLUNTEER

  • $35 pay for a volunteer’s weekly meals.
  • $75 pay for a volunteer´s weekly room, board, and transportation.
