THE CHILDREN’S DINING CENTER IS LOCATED IN FLORES DE ORIENTE, LA LIMA, HONDURAS

The Children’s Dining Center is located in the village of Flores de Oriente near La Lima, Cortés. Most of the people in this area live in extreme poverty and with limited access to water, sewage, health services and education. For the past several years, Pastora Mirlen Ramos has been working with families in this community through the Hefzi-Bá Church, a member of MUNA. There is an urgent need to reach out and help the youth. We believe that by investing in the well being and spiritual needs of the children in this area we can assure a bright future for them and eliminate crime in the future.

The Children’s Dining Center is currently being built in this community to feed malnourished school-age children. Our goal is to provide the needs (food, clothing, education and spiritual well being) for 25 children from the time they are 5 years old until they complete their secondary education.

Water Tank

In this community the water service is only available one hour a day. Thanks to the support of the sponsors of MUNA INTERNATIONAL, the Children’s Dining Center now has a water tank and electric pumping system that provides them with drinking water, giving them a better quality of life.
