MUNA International is a Christian association with headquarters in Florida, USA, created to alleviate the needs of the poorest youth in the north of Honduras. All donations are managed by an ad-honorem board of directors and channeled through a Honduran non-profit organization.

EMMA SOSA – President

Dra. Emma Sosa

Emma Sosa was born in Choluteca, Honduras, in 1951. She received a Ph. D. degree in Clinical Toxicology and Pharmacology and a Ph.D. degree in Pastoral Ministries
from Latin University of Theology in California. Dr. Sosa is the founder and President of Asociación Internacional Ministerio Un Nuevo Amanecer in Honduras. She also founded Sunshine Christian Bilingual School and Living Stones Church.

ELÍAS RODRÍGUEZ  Vicepresident


Elías Rodríguez was born in Miami, USA, in 1973. He has a degree in Architecture and a master’s degree in Pastoral Ministries from Latin University of Theology in California. He and his wife are pastors at Living Stones Church in La Lima, Honduras, from where they coordinate several outreach programs.

OSCAR RODRÍGUEZ  Secretary


Oscar Rodríguez was born in Puerto Rico in 1976. He has a degree in Industrial Engineering and a master´s degree in education from the College of Framingham, USA. He is the rector of Sunshine Christian Bilingual School. He and his wife direct the Prophetic School for Children at La Lima, Honduras.

DILCIA TORO  Treasurer

Dilcia Toro was born in Honduras, but she is a USA resident in Florida. Dilcia has a degree in Agronomy with a master´s degree in agricultural extension. At present she works for the research department of the University of Florida at Live Oak.

RIGOBERTO SOSA  Fiscal

Rigoberto Sosa was born in El Progreso, Honduras, in 1956. He has a degree in Agronomy from University of Southwestern Lousiana, USA. ​He owns and leads a printing shop business, and administers an African palm farm. He and his wife have been serving God and their community through MUNA Internacional for over 25 years.
