Campuses

In Honduras, opportunity lies everywhere. But where there is poverty, many opportunities go unchecked. Your donations can circumvent the effects of poverty in the lives of the youth in our campuses.

GRACIAS A DIOS

Opened in April 2008, Gracias a Dios campus gathers at the Community Center to celebrate local church meetings on Fridays and prayer meetings on Wednesdays. On Saturdays, the Bible is taught to children, youth, and adults. It collaborates with the Public Health Center in the logistics of its “Healthy Child” program and other medical brigades. It manages the community kindergarten and serves, through its kitchen, the children of this kindergarten and another school nearby. It also functions as a distribution hub for food, clothes, and footwear donations. It has restored the community center building and will soon manage donated funds in a public lighting project

17 DE ENERO

Opened in June 2011, the 17 de Enero campus gathers at the public school building on Saturdays, to teach the Bible to children, youth, and adults. It operates a small community vegetable garden and functions as a distribution hub for food, clothes, and footwear donations. It is the contact point for medical and dental brigades and for a national program that sets up family vegetable gardens in poor communities. A meal program for nursery children is in the works.

7 DE ABRIL

Opened in April 2009, 7 de abril is a small village located near the Mico Quemado mountain range in the city of El Progreso, Yoro. Here visitors are received with joy and claps by the inhabitants; children, mothers, and campesinos. Many spiritual and physical needs are found in this place, including medical attention, education, food and clothing.

FLORES DE ORIENTE

Flores de Oriente campus was opened in March 2007 in the rural areas of La Lima to teach the Bible to children, youth, and adults. As a result, family relationships have been restored and the mentality of the community is being transformed. Food, clothes, and footwear donations are distributed here, and we are in the process of building a meal center to feed 30 children regularly.
